Alex and Kim

Last week I got word from a friend that she knew someone getting married over the weekend and was looking for a photographer. It was going to be a very small intimate wedding and so I was all for it!

So I drove up to St. Joseph river walk, where the ceremony was going to take place, and there I met Alex and Kim. Their two children and the officiant and myself were the only ones to witness this ceremony so I felt pretty special to be able to tag along...

I love Alex's dress!

And here are the newlyweds!

Now, I'm personally not a fan of gold. I really do not like it and would prefer silver for myself. But these rings, oh my! They both have gold in them but I don't care. They are GORGEOUS!

I love how the gazebo is built. Really makes for an interesting photo!

And you are about to see my new favorite photo! The sun was hitting them just right to put everything into a silhouette.  LOVE IT!

The new fam is now complete =)

I love this one of the kids!
The new family!

Thanks Alex and Kim for inviting me to take your photos of your day! May you have a life full of blessing together!

Part 4: Curtis and Cassidy are married!!!!

And lastly we come to our final blog of the Kipple wedding. So excited for this one though because if you know me well I love all the little details. If I wasn't a photography I would seriously consider wedding and party planning! I always get tons of shots of all the decorations and details at weddings and I just loved the ones at this wedding. So I am dedicating a blog just for this!

They had each guest sign a piece of colored paper instead of signing a book. Not sure what the plans are for these, but I bet it is for something neato!

Flowers were done by Always Blooming in Atchison. They did a beautiful job as always!

They also had communion during the ceremony....

And this gorgeous cake was done by Cyndie Neven of Cyndie's Cakes in Weston, Missouri.

All the little dragon tears became quite the entertainment for the guests. Every single table had some kind of picture made from them. Here are just a few:

And since they were such a hit, I thought it was perfect to use for the ring photo. But I couldn't decided which one I liked best (of course!).

And because you would be reading this blog forever, I decided to make a collage out of some of the other detail oriented photos for your enjoyment. =)

And we end with true love. Because that is what this is all about! (And, no, I didn't set this up. It was another guest that left their mark. =)

So we come to an end finally. Hope you like these series of blogs because I enjoyed making them. Before I go though, I want to congratulate Curtis and Cassidy! May you have many years of love and blessings!

Part 3: Curtis and Cassidy are Married!!!

Here we go guys! The 3rd installment to the Kipple Wedding.....

So we've already covered rehearsal, getting ready, ceremony, and reception.... so now we are on the portraits side of the wedding. This is my favorite part because I can get as creative as I want with them as you will see. =)

We started off with the guys and well, they like to goof around. So we have several fun photos of the gang being silly...

And we stole a few of the lucky guy by himself too of course. But we soon had to whisk him away so he wouldn't see the bride get her photos done!

She wanted some photos with her brother so I told them to act like siblings and this is what they gave me....

I love the stare down! =)

And yes, you seen this picture right. They all have pockets! Even the bride! Coolest thing ever!!!

So after the fun ones, we had to do some of the Bride alone. And I couldn't decide which were my favorite so I will leave that up to you. But warning, she is just gorgeous so you may not be able to decide either!

Now fast forward through the ceremony and here we are with the whole gang...

But what fun is it if they are all serious?

After the fun, we set everyone free.... everyone but the newly weds of course. Be sure to scroll through slowly because these are AMAZING!

I don't know if you guys remember from their engagements but we had to sneak their secret kiss in too. =)

And there you have it! Hope you enjoyed them... but wait! I'm not done with the blogging of this wedding yet. I have one more coming and will try my best to get it up by the end of the day!
