Bio

Hi, I'm Kristy Sumtper and I'm from the small town of Atchison, Kansas. I've always had this knack for photography and I think that stems back to my great grandmother. I always admired her photos from her home in Montanna and I suppose it just sort of stuck. My style is somewhat journalistic and majority of my photos take place in an outdoor setting. I love capturing real moments and the emotions of love and family. My goal for all my clients is to make them smile when they view their final images and to be able to make artwork out of their photos for them to show off for all to see. This job, more like a passionate hobby of mine, is the best I could have ever asked for and I hope to spread the love and joy of my work to you!

To further elaborate a little bit about myself here is a list of quick facts about me =)

- I am a mother to two beatufiul little girls, which is where the name Bella Grace comes from!
- I am married to an Army National Guard Soldier.
- I am also a dance teacher here in Atchison, KS
- I am currently going back to school to fine tune my photography skills
- I am an Herbalife distributor. If you need to loose weight a healthy way and want to feel amazing please contact me!
- My favorite color is brown. An awkward favorite color I know, but it goes with just about everything!
- I can be a perfectionist and kind of a organizing freak.
- We have four dogs, two of which are Redbone Coonhounds and one is a Walker that my husband enters in dog shows.
- I LOVE animals. Actually love doesn't even begin to cover it. If I did not do everything I do now I would work in a zoo!
- I am partial to Nikon camera equipment. I currently use a Nikon D90 and a nikkor 18-105 lens and hoping to expand my lens family soon!
- My absolute favorite part of the photography process is that first look at photos I've just taken before the editing begins. I wont lie, but I really look forward and sike myself out for those first viewing moments =).
- I like to consider myself a crafty person.
- I love to paint. I may not be the best at it and don't get to but once in a couple years but I still love it.
- A few of my favorite things: Mexican food, potatoes, cherry limeades, Army Wives (tv show), the Twilight series (yes I have been sucked in to the madness), What Dreams May Come (movie), facebook, dancing (duh!), and my camera (another duh!)
