Meet Boomer

Today we bared the cold and snowy weather to go get the newest addition to our family. I didn't think we were going to make it home at times with the blizzard like conditions on the road. But this little guy made it all ok while he was curled up on my lap all the way home =)

Bommer is a 6 week old Red Bone Coonhound that we plan on breeding with our 1 year old female Belle. Belle hasn't been able to meet the new little man yet because it's too cold for him to be outside and I think we'd probably loose him in the snow lol. So he's going to be nice and warm inside until it gets warmer (hopefully within the next couple weeks). And of course he had to have his first photo shoot too =)

 

  

Since he is going to be a show dog and hopefully a champion hunter we had to get a photo of his first "show" stance. And I must say he's looking pretty good already!

 

 

 

And the little guy is so tuckered out from our drive and playing so hard when he got home that he is curled up next to me =). So I leave you with a photo of him asleep on my lap on the way home today. Doesn't he just make your heart melt?

Winter Woes

I finally had my first session of the year this past Sunday but old man winter decided that it wasn't a good idea. This session has been rescheduled so many times that it will be a miracle if we can get this session done before spring! We actually made it out to take the photos but quickly decided that it was way too cold and snowy for the kids. Their poor little ears and noses were red by the time we made it to our first location in Forest of Friendship. So we made a call to postpone so the little guys wouldn't freeze out there! So I will leave you with the only photo that was captured that day.......

 

I'm definitely ready for spring!

I'm finally back in the blogging scene!

So I took a little break from the blogging world since almost a year ago. So many things have been going on since my husband got back from his deployment last year that I never had time or the energy to post everything. But I have decided that I'm going to take a bat at it again and hopefully keep up with it. I will be posting all my previews to my photo sessions on here and everything else in between (hopefully). Soon I will be posting my goals for 2010. I have been meaning to get this up for the last month but I've been just a little slow...
